Holy Smokes. What a one-two punch for the coaching staff.

Gwozdecky better get his contract redone quickly. Peg's spending all the cash on big-time coaches. :-)

The biggest recruiting task facing these ladies isn't finding the players. Its building the fanbase from near scratch.

Wow - What a hire. This is a home run for DU!

Job id confirmed on her twitter. Looks like DU will also be retaining its top Erick Johnson recruits, too.

huh. Waner's kinda-sorta hot. FWIW, I caught a glimpse of Alana Rizzo today on MLBNet - and I must admit, she looked TIGHT. Rizzo's got more game then the friggin players

Stunning hire, Very strategic choice. SGrowing up here. she is something of an icon for women's basketball in Colorado and DU should be in the mix for almost any Colorado recruit with the academic chops to play here.

Additionally, as an honor role Duke grad and a former national high school player of the year and a former ESPN reporter, she'll be able to sit in any living room and sell our school credibly and articulately...

Very impressive hire. DU is playing for keeps.

DU makes announcement official as well as adding Ashley Langford to the staff.

Should be good times ahead for women's hoops at DU.
