Despite last season’s magical Final Four run, the University of
Denver Pioneers have dropped to fourth in the Eastern Collegiate
Athletic Conference with only the April 21 match-up with Fairfield
remaining in conference play.
Denver fell 12-9 to #4 Loyola at home on Saturday night,
while the Greyhounds maintained a perfect 11-0 season and clinched the
No. 1 seed in the E.C.A.C. tournament as well as the No. 1 spot in both
the USILA and Nike/Inside Lacrosse polls. Denver dropped two spots in
